Everybody should know how to take a screenshot on their devices. Taking a screenshot means basically taking a photograph of your current screen (either the entire screen, or just a portion). This comes in handy all the time. You might need to take a screenshot of a website, to demonstrate how an application works, or when creating directions for others to follow.

To take a screenshot of the entire screen:

Click Ctrl+ window switcher key for a shot of your whole screen. The image gets automatically saved to your Google Drive and titled with “screenshot” and the date and time.

To take a screenshot of only a portion of the screen

Click Ctrl+Shift+window switcher key for a partial screenshot. The cursor will change into a crosshair. Just click and drag over the portion of the screen you want to save. The image gets automatically saved to your Google Drive.
