Its something that I get asked a lot, especially in school. “How do I take a photo I took with my iPad and get it on my computer?” Well email is always an option, but it’s not a good one. I am constantly encouraging folks to utilize their Google Drive for their documents and images.
With Drive, you can view, share, and change permissions of anything in your Google Drive. You can upload documents, photographs, and more to your drive. Even print and search your drive!
How to transfer an image to your computer:
- Open the Drive app
- Tap the plus (+) button
- Select the document that you want to add to your drive
- On your computer go to http://www.drive.google.com
- Sign in with your Google account
- Find the file in your drive.
This is obviously a change in workflow for many people. But if you can convince someone to start to utilize their Google Drive from whatever connected device they are using, it can alleviate a lot of headaches in the future.
