Have you ever been sharing/presenting/teaching from your MacBook to a large screen, and a notification comes up due to a message, email, or twitter retweet? It doesn’t look professional. It can sometimes be of a personal nature. But most importantly, it will distract from your intended message. We all know how quickly we can lose a student’s attention. Luckily, Apple realized that a while ago and added the ability to turn on Do Not Disturb whenever your MacBook is connected to an external display.

Here’s how to do it.
